Leadership Winston-Salem class visits Forsyth HHS

The current Leadership Winston-Salem class toured our Health and Human Services campus on May 1 where they heard from leadership in each of our HHS departments:

• Chista Smith, Director of Social Services
• Dewanna Hamlin, Director of Bridges to Hope Family Justice Center
• Denise Price, Director of Behavorial Health Services
• Sherita Sutton, assistant Public Health Director

After an overview of HHS presented by Business Process Analyst Barbara Knotts, the class got to visit each department and were given a brief overview of the services offered by each agency. They also visited the Highland Avenue Center, which is undergoing renovations to transform it into a one-stop location for individuals with behavioral health needs with services provided by partner agencies
