Operation Greenlight

From November 6th through November 12th, Forsyth County Parks & Recreation will be participating in a statewide initiative called "Operation Green Light". This is an annual event in which numerous counties across North Carolina show their support for veterans both within the state and across the country. They do this by illuminating county buildings and infrastructure in green, in synchronization with other participating North Carolina counties.

The Veterans Memorial, located at Triad Park's Carolina Field of Honor, will be lit green as shown in the attached picture, until the 12th of November. Through our commitment to "Operation Green Light" we aim to convey to our veterans that they are acknowledged and supported by our residents.
