Register of Deeds now accepting credit and debit cards

As of Feb. 1, the Register of Deeds office accepts credit and debit cards for payment of recording and copy fees. This excludes Real Estate transactions with Excise Tax fees and legal processes, Birth and Death Amendments or Legitimations. At this time, we do not accept card payment by phone. This service is for in-office transactions only. The charge for using a credit or debit card is 3 percent or minimum for Credit and Debit transaction.
