This fall, the Adult Education Program, hosted by the Arboretum and Gardens at Tanglewood Park, will continue offering online education opportunities. We are excited to offer these options for community members to continue to learn with us!
All classes will be held online using Zoom on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. As with all classes in the Adult Education series, registration is required and will open 2 weeks prior to each class date. Registration is through the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, Eventbrite page. September 2 - Gardening for an Unpredictable Climate: Plants that Tolerate Extremes:
As our weather becomes more unpredictable, there are some plants that are especially tolerant of extreme drought and wet spells - and others that are a bit too sensitive. Come and learn about plants that are workhorses in our variable climate.

October 7 - Bulbs in Your Backyard
Dig deep to add dimension to your garden. This class will focus on bulbs that can be planted in the fall to add color to your garden in the spring.

The Arboretum and Gardens at Tanglewood Park showcases plants that grow in Forsyth County, NC. The Arboretum is managed by North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, in partnership with Forsyth County Parks and Recreation and Extension Master Gardener? Volunteers.
