There will be a pesticide safety school in Winston-Salem on August 21 and 22, 2018 at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, 1450 Fairchild Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. Pesticide school is for people who wish to obtain a NC pesticide applicator license.
Pesticide school lasts 1 ½ days, starting at 8:30 AM each day. Please arrive early if you need to register for the school. You can pre-register for the school and order manuals online at pesticidemanuals.com. It is recommended that you order manuals early so you can review them before the school. Please allow at least two weeks for the manuals to arrive. Click here for the manual order form if you prefer to order by mail.
The pesticide exams will be held at 1:00 PM on the second day of the school, August 22. Pesticide exams are administered by NCDA and exam registration must be completed separately from registration for pesticide school. To pre-register for the exams, click here.
Pesticide school is hosted by the NC State Pesticide Safety Education Program with the help of N.C. Cooperative Extension and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS).
