Last Rabies Clinic of 2016!

The last low-cost rabies vaccination clinic ?this year, will be held at the Forsyth County Animal Shelter on Saturday, October 22. Rabies vaccines are available to anyone who has a dog, cat or ferret that needs a vaccine. One (1) and three (3) year vaccinations will be available? for $5 per vaccination. Only cash transactions accepted. Dogs, cats and ferrets only. Dogs must be leashed. Cats and ferrets must be in carriers. Pets must be at least 3 months of age.

Clinic Cost: $5.00 per vaccination (cash only)

Dates & Times: Saturday October 22 9:00 am – 11:00 am

All proceeds support the Forsyth Spay Day fund which provides vouchers to assist low income households with the cost of altering their pets. $10 Spay/Neuter Vouchers will be available to low-income Forsyth County households seeking assistance in altering their pets. Spaying and neutering is a fundamental element of responsible pet ownership and the key to reducing the number of unwanted pets.

To Get a Voucher:

Requirements:

  • ID showing you are a resident of Forsyth County.
  • Proof of low-income (WIC card, W2, food stamps, Medicaid, etc.)
  • $10 (cash) per voucher.
  • Specifics:

    • Only pets older than 3 months and less than 7 years of age are eligible
