Shopping at a local farmers market, CSA, produce market or roadside stand is a great way to support farmers in our community. Other benefits include:

• Environmental - less fuel spent transporting foods,
• Social - you get to know the people that grow the food, and
• Economic - more money stays in the community when you buy local
