The Clover Classic 4-H Livestock Show was held March 15 and 16 at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds, home of the Dixie Classic Fair in Winston-Salem, NC. The show was open to youth ages 5-18 that reside anywhere which resulted in over one hundred exhibitors from 28 counties in three states. Randi Leigh Baxley drove over 200 miles to bring several of her FFA students to the show from Oconee County. Caley Mayo of Nash County came almost 175 miles to show sheep on Sunday. Both received $50 gas cards to help with their fuel on the return trip home. There were over 125 head of beef cattle exhibited along with almost 30 market lambs, 36 breeding ewes, and 30 breeding meat-type does. View pictures from the event by photographer Lindsey Hooker
