Volunteers Encouraged to Apply
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will consider the following volunteer board appointments at their regular scheduled meeting on March 24, 2014.
- Six (6) Appointments to the ADULT CARE HOME COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE, Five (5) Appointments, Three-Year Terms, One (1) Expiring February 2017 and Four (4) Expiring March 2017; One (1) Appointment to Fill an Unexpired Term, Expiring March 2015 [Capacity: “Open”]
- One (1) Appointment to the APPEARANCE COMMISSION, WINSTON-SALEM/FORSYTH COUNTY, Three-Year Term, Expiring February 2017 [Capacity: “Special Experience or Education in Design”]
- One (1) Appointment to the COALITION FOR DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION, Three-Year Term, Expiring March 2017 [Capacity: “Religion Representative”]
- Five (5) Appointments to the EQUALIZATION AND REVIEW BOARD - 2014 to Serve Until All Matters Have Been Considered Relative to Tax Listings and Tax Values for the Current Year
- Two (2) Appointments to the FORSYTH COUNTY AGRICULTURAL ADVISORY BOARD, Three-Year Terms, Expiring February 2017 [Capacities: One (1) “Non-Farm Member” and One (1) “Actively Engaged in Farming in Forsyth County”]
- One (1) Appointment to the FORSYTH COUNTY HOME AND COMMUNITY CARE BLOCK GRANT ADVISORY COUNCIL, Two-Year Term, Expiring March 2015 [Capacity: “Service Recipient”]
- Two (2) Appointments to the FORSYTH COUNTY JUVENILE CRIME PREVENTION COUNCIL, One (1) Appointment, Two-Year Term, Expiring June 2015 [Capacity: “United Way/AEA Representative”] and One (1) Appointment, Two-Year Term, Expiring September 2015 [Capacity: “Member of Business Community”]
- Four (4) Appointments to the NURSING HOME COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE, FORSYTH COUNTY, Two (2) Appointments, Three-Year Terms, One (1) Expiring November 2016 and One (1) Expiring March 2017; Two (2) Appointments, One-Year Terms, One Expiring December 2014 and One Expiring July 2015 [Capacity: “Open”]

The deadline for receiving resumes and completed questionnaires is Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.
