New Volunteer Opportunity!

If you love the outdoors and dogs, come join us as we take our four-legged friends from the Forsyth County Animal Shelter on hikes at area parks. We're the Hiking Hounds and we're ready to hit the trail . . . how about you?

WHO: Anyone over age 16 who enjoys moderate hikes of 2 to 4 miles.

WHEN: Our first hike is scheduled for Sunday, September 11th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. This will be an ongoing event occurring on the second Sunday of each month. There is no monthly commitment required.

WHY: We need exercise and socialization and so do they!

The orientation is Tuesday, September 6th from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at the Forsyth County Animal Shelter located at 5570 Sturmer Park Circle. For additional information, please call 336-671-3921.
