Local Weather Watchers Needed
The National Weather Service will present a FREE Severe Weather Spotter training program to help participants understand the warning process and severe weather.
The training and utilization of Weather Watchers in the community is instrumental in issuing NWS Weather Watches and Warnings. Learning to recognize weather patterns and reporting observations to the NWS increases employee safety and saves lives within the community. This is also excellent training for Safety Team Leaders for facilities, buildings, and businesses.
These classes are open to the public and FREE to the trainee!
