Bark for Life!
Bark For Life is an American Cancer Society fundraising event that honors the care giving qualities of our canine Best Friends. Dog lovers, along with their canine companions, are joining the American Cancer Society on November 14, 2009 at Tanglewood Park, Shelter 4, in teams and as individual participants to celebrate cancer survivorship, to honor people and canines lost to cancer, and to fundraise through our Forsyth County dogs walk in support of cancer research, education, awareness, patient services, and advocacy. Our ultimate goal is to help eliminate the suffering that cancer causes to humans and canines worldwide. Our canine companions represent unconditional love, joy, security, compassion, and no judgments of human abilities or appearances. Bark For Life is an irresistible way to help our canine friends take a bite out of cancer, and make new friends both canine & human while having fun and helping to walk away cancer!
