Learn the basics of canning and freezing vegetables and fruits from your garden at one of our upcoming classes sponsored by the N.C. Cooperative Extension.
- On August 25th , Old Salem will host "Canning and Freezing Basics" in the Single Brothers Workshop from noon until 1:00 pm, presented by Jennifer Brown. No registration is required.
- On August 29th, NC Cooperative Extension will host "Canning and Freezing Basics" at the AG Building, 1450 Fairchild Road from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, presented by Jennifer Brown. The class is free and open to the public. Call or email Kathy Hepler at 703-2852 to register.
