Sedge Garden UMC Community Garden is an in ground communal church garden approximately 1 acre in size. The garden has been organized for seven years. In 2011, we harvested over two tons of produce, not including watermelons. We had approximately 50 volunteers last season. We donate all of our harvest to food shelters in Forsyth County. We work everyday during the harvest period which begins in late May and runs through November. Interested volunteers to help with harvest may contact us.
