Detention Sergeant James Cooley Retires

Detention Sergeant James Cooley was hired by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office as a Detention Officer on April 26, 1997. Detention Sergeant earned several promotions throughout his career with his last promotion to the rank of Sergeant in December 2016.

During his career, Detention Sergeant Cooley received a couple of Letters of Commendation.

Detention Sergeant Cooley served in the Security Services and Operational Services Division in the Law Enforcement Detention Center.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Detention Sergeant Cooley all the best in his future endeavors.
