Community Gardens

Forsyth Community Gardening’s mission is to support and develop sustainable community gardens across Forsyth County. By working to establish and sustain community gardens, FCG aims to increase residents’ access to and consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables, and
to build stronger communities across
Forsyth County.

Forsyth Community Gardening engages a wide range of people: from folks who are learning about community gardening for the first time to those who have been involved with community gardens for years. FCG offers educational programs, material resources, informational databases, and networking opportunities as resources to individuals who are interested in or involved with community gardening.

Community Gardens

Forsyth Community Gardening offers year-round training and networking opportunities for current and future community gardeners, including the Community Garden Mentor Program and the Sustainable Growing Series. Other valuable services, such as tool-lending, soil testing, and printed materials on horticultural topics, are made available to the public via FCG’s resource bank.
